The IGN JAPAN editorial team collaborated on the production of the book “Gaming English Phrases,” which will be published by Gakken Co., Ltd. on May 18th.
This book is a handy guide that introduces English translations of commonly used Japanese phrases used by Japanese gamers. Many phrases covered relate to online shooter games and help Japanese gamers who wish to communicate smoothly with gamers from around the world. The IGN JAPAN editorial team supervised the English translation of various phrases and also handled part of the manuscript production.
