The world’s largest anime event, “AnimeJapan 2024,” was held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 23rd and 24th. At this event, we handled the booth construction and operation for Manga Productions, a content production company from Saudi Arabia.

This year’s “AnimeJapan” attracted about 13,000 people over two days. Manga Productions, known as a pioneer in the content production industry in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East & North Africa region, exhibited at their booth collaborations in the entertainment field such as “Captain Tsubasa Junior Youth Edition” (TSUBASA) and “Grendizer U” (Dynamic Planning), as well as the anime series set in Saudi Arabia “Asateer: The future’s folklore 2” and the feature-length animated film “Journey: A Tale of Miracles and Battles on the Ancient Arabian Peninsula,” both co-produced with Toei Animation.

At the booth, a traditional Saudi Majlis (meaning ‘place of sitting’) was set up. Dried dates, a traditional staple souvenir from the region, were distributed to visitors on Arabic-style sofas as a gesture of hospitality.
