The 12th Factory Exhibition 2026, hosted by Katsushika Ward and the Katsushika branch of the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was held at Tokyo International Forum from February 19 to 20. Sankei Digital supported the planning and operation of this exhibition.

The Factory Exhibition is a business exhibition for small and medium-sized manufacturing companies mainly in Katsushika Ward, Tokyo, as well as the Joto area and neighboring regions, who are engaged in manufacturing. Small and medium-sized manufacturing businesses exhibited, and used the event as an opportunity for business negotiations with visitors, including companies, government agencies, business development organizations, and financial institutions.
At the venue, various programs were conducted, such as live sales of products including the “Cardboard Pillow” and “Relax Leather Belt,” a pitch contest by participants of the ‘Atotsugi Koshien’ hosted by the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, and a lecture by Yuta Yamagishi, Secretary General of the Venture-type Business Succession Association.
This year marks the fourth year of the “Factory Support Project,” under which interview articles with companies working on traditional crafts like Edo Kiriko, written from the unique perspective of student reporters, are published on Sankei Digital’s entertainment media “iza!” This project began with the aim of allowing students to visit exhibiting companies within the ward, conduct factory tours and interviews with presidents, and deliver the appeal of local factories and information about this exhibition to a wider audience.
