Sankei Digital handled the overall planning and operation of the “Nerima Industrial Trade Fair 2026,” held on October 18 to showcase the appeal of Nerima Ward’s industries to local residents, for the second consecutive year.
Held once a year, the trade fair aims to highlight Nerima Ward’s outstanding technologies and unique products. The event took place at Coconeri, the Nerima Ward Civic and Industrial Plaza, with approximately 50 businesses exhibiting this year.
The fair was divided into five areas: the “Monozukuri Zone,” “Lifestyle Zone,” “Beauty and Health Zone,” “Business Zone,” and “Food and Beverage Zone.” This year again featured a quiz rally that visitors could enjoy while touring the exhibition booths. We also prepared novelty gifts for participants who collected three or more stickers by taking part in the quiz. The event was so popular that the planned number of gifts was reached within the first hour.
The special children’s event “Nerima Work Experience,” which was also well received the previous year, was held alongside the trade fair. This year, children could experience eight occupations: television program production staff, nail technician, magazine editor, POP designer, programmer, radio personality, nurse, and bank employee. Even before the venue opened, families lined up to obtain tickets for the work experience sessions, and distribution of the tickets ended shortly afterward. The sight of children enthusiastically engaging in “work” alongside their instructors was particularly memorable.
As part of its support for exhibitors, Sankei Digital distributed an exhibitor guidebook and provided individual guidance by inviting a promotional advisor to serve as an instructor on the event preparation day, thereby assisting exhibitors with their preparations.
