Sankei Digital Inc. handled the construction, decoration, planning, and design for the large-scale exhibition “Nijūmaru”. This exhibition celebrated the musical career of Kazuya Yoshii, a musician and vocalist of the rock band THE YELLOW MONKEY, as well as marked the 20th anniversary of Kazuya Yoshii’s solo debut.
The exhibition was held on September 30th and October 1st at Tokyo Garden Theater in Ariake, Tokyo. It featured a display of instruments, costumes, treasured materials related to his works, photographs, and personal items. Many of these items were displayed for the public for the first time. All of the items were arranged along the concept of “double circles.” The space was produced to encapsulate the 20 year journey of Yoshii’s career.
