The world’s largest anime event, “AnimeJapan 2024,” was held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 23rd and 24th. For this event, we handled the booth construction and operation for Manga Productions, a content production company from Saudi Arabia.

This year’s “AnimeJapan” attracted over 130,000 visitors over two days. Manga Productions, known as a pioneer in the content production industry in Saudi Arabia as well as the Greater Middle East, exhibited collaborations in the entertainment field such as “Captain Tsubasa Junior Youth Edition” (TSUBASA) and “Grendizer U” (Dynamic Planning) at their booth. “Asateer: The future’s folklore 2”, an anime series set in Saudi Arabia, and the feature-length animated film “Journey: A Tale of Miracles and Battles on the Ancient Arabian Peninsula,” which are both co-produced with Toei Animation, were also exhibited at the booth.

At the booth, a traditional Saudi Majlis (meaning ‘place of sitting’) was set up. Dried dates, a traditional staple from the region, were distributed to visitors from Arabic-style sofas as a gesture of hospitality.
