IGN JAPAN Editor-in-Chief Daniel Robson to be a speaker at GPC, a video game industry conference.

On April 23, Daniel Robson, Editor-in-Chief of IGN JAPAN, participated as a speaker at the video game industry conference ‘GPC Online 2024’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘GPC’), hosted by Indian gaming media “GamingonPhone.”

‘GPC’ featured guest speaker sessions on a variety of topics, including current trends and challenges in the video game industry, career development, and the further growth of mobile esports.

Daniel contributed to a panel discussion titled “The Evolving Role of PR & Media in Shaping Gaming Culture.” In addition to Daniel, the panel included Alex Beech from PR company “Big Games Machine,” Valentin Ramos from game publisher “FunPlus,” and Chris Scullion from gaming media “Video Games Chronicle.” The panelists shared their insights on the dynamic relationship between media and PR in the gaming industry.

This inaugural ‘GPC’ conference gathered a total of 103 companies, 37 speakers, and 173 participants from 49 countries worldwide.
