Sankei Digital Co., Ltd. exhibited at Japan’s largest game event, “Tokyo Game Show 2024,” which was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba from Thursday, September 26th to Sunday, September 29th. For the second consecutive year, we had a booth for our in-house game label “HYPER REAL,” and, for the first time, we also introduced the “IGN JAPAN STORE,” a retail store launched by our game and entertainment media “IGN JAPAN.”
Continuing from last year, “HYPER REAL” set up a booth in the Indie Game section of Hall 9 at the International Exhibition Hall, where we exhibited four titles: the fast-paced teleportation action game “Telebbit,” which was released on October 24th, “SAEKO: Giantess Dating Sim,” “SKY THE SCRAPER,” and “Dome-King Cabbage.” For the action game “Telebbit,” which features a speed-run mode, we hosted time attack challenges that were enjoyed mainly by gaming enthusiasts.

The “IGN JAPAN STORE,” which we handled all the way from booth design to construction, made its debut in the sales booth area of Hall 11 at the International Exhibition Hall. We showcased a wide variety of items, including original products popular in North America, collaboration goods with popular IPs, editor-recommended items handpicked by the IGN JAPAN editorial team, hoodies from the “Fallout” series (which was adapted into a live-action show), T-shirts for “Cyberpunk 2077” developed by CD Projekt RED, and figurines from “Mario Kart” and “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.”

We also launched the first original merchandise for “HYPER REAL,” selling graphic T-shirts and acrylic stands for “SAEKO: Giantess Dating Sim” and graphic T-shirts for “Dome-King Cabbage.” Additionally, IGN JAPAN teamed up with PARCO to offer a selection of game-related merchandise such as “Exit 8,” “COFFEE TALK,” and “Malicious Gifts,” available in-store through PARCO GAMES.
Thanks to the unique and diverse product lineup curated by IGN JAPAN, many visitors stopped by our booths. “IGN JAPAN STORE” is also scheduled to launch as an online shop within 2025.
